Not your everyday disco-funk band.
We're Melbourne-based musicians with experience from all over the world. The Late in the Evening story began in the dreams of our Musical Director - Corey Hall. In Corey's own words:
'This 10-piece band holds a cherished place in my heart. As a young trumpeter I discovered a passion for Latin, funk, soul and disco music, and yearned to manage bands in these genres.'
'After years performing with Melbourne's finest musicians, I spent two decades as a professional pit musician, as well as guiding young aspiring musicians in schools. In 2024, I decided it was time to bring together Melbourne's finest musicians to create a band of exceptional quality that whole-heartedly embraces disco-funk'
And we want you to dance the night away too! You can with our corporate event, festival, club, show or wedding ceremony or reception.
Come check us out at our next gig to experience it for yourself.
